While overall land planning was important to the vision of Kennebec, the design team paid special attention to two areas in particular: The entry and the ends of the roads. Today #ontheblog we’re diving deeper into these design aspects and how they set the stage for Kennebec.
Who said they don’t make them like they used to? Well, they do at Kennebec.
The materials & craftsmen are at Kennebec weaving the thatched roof tower on architect Bobby McAlpine’s home. When we set out to craft Kennebec, we knew we needed to do something different. But, to be different, we actually looked back to what has been done before Kennebec – way back. With homes now coming out of the ground, what we built in theory and in words with our design guide is finally coming to life. We believe seeing them is the best example of the vision for Kennebec.
