Kennebec is envisioned and designed to be a different sort of place at Lake Martin. Starting with a spectacular piece of land, Daniel Communities and Nequette Architecture and Design have crafted a lakeside community designed to harken back to old lakeside communities where homes were designed for families to enjoy. Such homes are found at the end of narrow winding – often dirt – roads on the shores of lakes Southern families have enjoyed for generations.
Birmingham Home & Garden featured Kennebec in their July/August 2018 issue. In a discussion with the magazine, Louis Nequette lays out the vision for crafting a place on Lake Martin that is welcoming while private, comfortable yet refined – and all around unique.
